Leelanau Books provides a diverse selection of books including all of the newest titles and bestsellers, local and regional books, cookbooks, gardening and nature books, as well as many of your old favorites. We carry some unique items that represent our area such as posters, note cards, puzzles and beautiful aerial photography of Leelanau County.

Dedicated to providing great books for children, our acclaimed children's section offers a substantial collection of books for children of all ages. We have board and picture books for younger children, many old favorites, as well as the newest releases for beginners, middle readers and young adults.

Services

Leelanau Books is a friendly, full service bookstore open year around for your shopping and ordering convenience.

In addition to offering a great in-store book selection, our knowledgeable staff can help you locate some of those "hard to find titles" you have been looking for. For a small search and find fee, we may be able to order that old, rare or out-of-print book for you.

We can ship your selections to you or to your intended gift recipients. We will also gift wrap and include a note from you to that special someone.

Gift certificates are available in any amount for your gift-giving convenience.

We offer schools and libraries a discount on titles ordered through us. Call for details.

Leelanau Books hosts a local book club that meets the 2nd Friday of the month from September through June. The book club is open to anyone who wishes to attend, so feel free to join in. Call or stop by for a list of titles chosen for the year. Leelanau Books book club attendees receive a 15% discount on "the book of the month". Additionally, any other local book clubs may order their selections through Leelanau Books at a 10% discount. Just provide us with a list of your chosen titles, let us know how many books to order for your group and we will make sure that they are here for you to pick up.

Will you be vacationing or spending some extended time the Leland area? If so, contact us with those special selections you have been looking forward to reading. Also, send us a list of your child's summer reading requirements and we will have the books here waiting for you upon your arrival.

Are you a frequent book buyer? If the answer is yes, you may wish to take advantage of a Leelanau Books membership. A membership costs $10.00, and offers 10% off most regularly priced books for a period of one year.

Are you in need of copies or fax service? For a small fee we offer both incoming and out going fax service, and we are able to make black and color copies up to letter size.

Free Wi-FI

If you want a place to connect to the internet, we offer free Wi-Fi service. Enjoy a cup of coffee, find a chair-either inside, or weather permitting, outside-and catch up on your email or web surfing.

We offer freshly brewed and espresso coffees daily. Try our "Latte Flavor of the Month" for a special treat.
